DOXA & STAVROS: Shipping & Fulfillment

Your heirloom is crafted for eternity, and we ensure it reaches your hands with the same solemn care with which it was made.

We offer two distinct fulfillment paths:

For Ready-to-Ship Heirlooms
A selection of pre-conceived pieces is available for immediate claim.

  • Processing: These in-stock items are carefully packaged and shipped within 48-72 hours of order confirmation.

  • Shipping: Delivered via insured carrier service (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx). Shipping costs and delivery timelines are calculated at checkout.

For Commissioned & Custom Heirlooms
Your personal heirloom follows a sacred timeline of creation.

  • Creation Timeline: From design approval to final firing, the making of your piece typically requires up to 10 weeks. You will be provided with an estimated completion date upon commission.

  • Processing & Shipping: Once the piece is fired, finished, and approved via final photos, it will be packaged and shipped within 48-72 hours. All shipments are fully insured through our carrier partners.

  • The Journey: We will communicate with you at key milestones—design approval, work commencement, and when your piece enters the kiln for its final, permanent firing.

Our Promise of Care
Every piece, whether ready-made or custom, is packaged with vigilant care in heavy-duty, double-walled boxes with custom-fit, cushioning insulation. This ensures your heirloom travels with the protection it deserves.

Tracking & Communication
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information and insurer details once your item is dispatched. We partner with reputable carriers to provide reliable service.

International Orders & Special Requests

Please contact us directly for inquiries regarding international shipping or special delivery circumstances. Due to the sacred nature of our work, rush processing is not available for custom commissions.

We are scribes in clay, not warehouse movers. Our pace is the pace of craft, and our shipping is the final act of reverence for the work.

Care
Q: How fragile are the pieces?
A: They are medium to high-fired, vitrified clay, making them as durable as stoneware or terra cotta. They are not indestructible and should be handled with the care due any significant art object, but they are made for daily viewing and ritual use, not merely storage.

Return & Exchange Policy

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our work, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We mitigate this through a thorough design approval process and detailed final photos before balance payment and shipment. In the highly unlikely event an item arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence to initiate an insurance claim.
